Our base will be The Beeman Hotel located in the Highland/Park Cities area of Dallas. An energetic, artsy, and music-centric area with an abundance of niche attractions and events. The Beeman Hotel, near Southern Methodist University and Mockingbird Station, puts you in Dallas’s most coveted retail, dining, and social hubs just steps from the hotel front door.

9:00am – Board the coach, depart The Beeman Hotel for a full, fun day in Dallas. We’ll visit a residential and commercial site arranged by McFarlin Stanford along with a visit to Jackson Pottery, a stop for an amazing Texas-style lunch, and much more.
5:00pm – Cocktail Hour hosted at Plein Air Atelier, the design studio of Melissa Gerstle Design

Cathy Hodges, business coach and owner of Increased Orbit

An award winning landscape designer with a true flair for aesthetics and art. Melissa has a unique approach to landscape design, emphasizing the transformative power of outdoor spaces. She takes a holistic approach to landscape projects, from home renovations to new construction, enhancing the relationship between the interiors and exteriors. Her full-service landscape studio provides site design and planning, planting design, investment management, and project oversight. Travel Info-
You are responsible for booking your flights and accommodations. We recommend arriving anytime on Monday, February 3 and departing anytime on Thursday, February 6. You may want to extend your stay and visit Magnolia Market in Waco, just 1.5 hours by car from Dallas, the perfect day trip. Or spend some time in Ft. Worth, only 1 hour by car.
Accommodations-
A block of rooms is reserved at The Beeman Hotel for February 3-6. We have a special Digging In event room rate at $169/night for a King Room or a Double Queen Room at $199/night. A booking link will be sent to you after you register. For those driving, the hotel does offer free parking.
Airport Info-
With two major airports providing daily direct flights from more than 260 destinations, Dallas is four hours by air from almost anywhere in the country making it easy to get to. The Beeman Hotel is located 5 miles from Love Field (DAL) (served by Alaska Airlines, Delta and Southwest Airlines) and 20 miles from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) (served by Alaska Airlines, American, Delta, Frontier, United). Dallas Fort Worth is the fourth-busiest airport in the US and supports international and domestic flights, while Love Field is a smaller, regional airport with fewer flights. Both have their perks depending on where and when you’re flying.
